We have the distinct pleasure in presenting the Marlen's Lapis Limited Edition fountain pen.
Only 81 unique pieces available worldwide with genuine mother of pearl and lapis, artisanly sculptured by a mastercraftsman from Torre del Greco, on the Bay of Naples. This small maritime city, at the foot of Vesuvius, has reached a worldwide fame for the way craftsmen transform coral and mother of pearl into priceless works of art.

This elaborate and detailed handmade fountain pen, individually sculptured with an exquisite mother of pearl overlay, framed with original lapis, is an artistic pieces, not only a writing instrument.
Each piece is unique and different from others: don't think to find two exact copies!

The barrel is highly decorate with solid sterling silver 925 and soli 18 Kt gold; the clip - which portrays a traditional design from ancient Greece is also in solid 18 Kt white gold.

The cap, the blind cap and the nib casing are made with blue flecked italian resin, which perfectly compliments the beautiful color of lapis.

The lapis-lazulis are intense ultra-marine colored stones, dotted with small golden particles.
Due to its particular colouring it has been associated with water or with a star-spangled sky. It has been a much appreciated gemstone since ancient times. The name comes from the Arab lazuward (=blue stone)
