As a child of Art Déco, Novecento Rex stands out among the other pens in the Novecento collection because it is the product of an elaborate search for a unique, high-quality, and limited edition piece. The Novecento Rex is available in only 925 examples in honor of the Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes of 1925, which celebrated the triumph of Art Déco and also gave the style its name. The striations typical of ebonite have been replaced by the soft and warm colors of Stipula’s Amber celluloid. The essential lines of the classical Novecento are matched with sterling silver trim that adorns the pen without altering the purity of its design.
